ABOUT ME
Hello! 👋
From a very young age, my passion for computers and technology was already emerging. With my first PC, an Amstrad CPC 64K with a monochrome screen (which I was lucky enough to have when I was 9 years old) I began to copy the lines of code, in Basic, that came in the programs book, which in those early days were hard to understand. Little by little, through trial and error, I was learning what was hidden behind each instruction and marveling at what I could do with that box full of cutting-edge technology.
Throughout my earliest years, I had the opportunity to install Windows 3.11, on top of MS-DOS. Later, in the first year of university, I started flirting with Linux, installing and configuring version 2.0 of a Red Hat in which you had to calculate the disk segments and cylinders that you wanted to reserve for each partition. I have to say that Linux touched my heart ... 😁
Technology advances inexorably and, with it, the technical capacities that we have to carry out our objectives are increasing. Throughout my professional and personal life, I have not stopped learning, continuously, everything that caused me interest, curiosity, or simply, what was a challenge for me.
Although my free time has decreased, I still have the same concerns, maybe more, towards cutting-edge technology. I try to learn from anywhere (with the internet everything is easier), from platforms like Udemi or Coursera, everything that goes in my mind or I think that can increase my technical knowledge and, therefore, help me to be a better professional.
Along with my professional career, I have mainly worked designing and developing supervision and control systems, data visualization, and conceiving both software and systems architectures. My technical skills cover a wide range of knowledge, from the backend to the frontend. In these last years of my career, I am focusing on developing my management skills, for example, training in Agile methodologies or CI / CD environments, in addition to perfecting my Python knowledge, a language that I love 🐍.
I enjoy working in a team and solving complex problems, through analysis and searching for the best solution.
In the meantime, I try to combine another of my passions: photography. You can check my work at the link that you will find at the bottom of this page.
